Description

The girls are back! Returning for its sophomore season, the hit HBO comedy series from writer/director/star Lena Dunham continues to follow the lives of aspiring 20-something writer Hannah Horvath (Dunham) and her complicated web of New York City friends, ex-friends, boyfriends, and ex-boyfriends. In Season 2, Hannah forges ahead in her writing career and begins seeing someone new, but her enthusiasm is tempered by the responsibility she feels for her now-ex Adam--convalescing after his Season 1 finale accident--and the pressures of the publishing business. Meanwhile, Jessa, Marnie and Shoshanna makes strides in their own relationships and jobs, though the bumps they encounter remind them that they still have a lot to learn.

GIRLS is such a refreshing a raw take on what its like to be a real human being in this world . Lena Dunham is outstandingly witty and this show keeps me endlessly entertained and reflective of my own life choices.
  • Why is she so naked in this season

It's ok, but I am surprised on how often the main character gets naked. What point is she trying to make? She loves pinkberry?

Boring. Below average performances by every actress and actor. You can tell the writer/main actress is really into herself by having herself naked all the time. Watch another show people and hopefully this'll get cancelled soon

This show had something good going in Season 1. Season 2 is just.. so.. so.. wierd, awkward and not at all interesting like the 1st season. I wonder how the actors (other than Dunham) feel about it.

I have never purchased a full season, much less any tv show up until now! Completely worth it! Spunky, witty, sexy, and totally relatable no matter your age. It just makes sense :) I am a fan, and you're sure to be too.
  • Rookie mistake

Oh my goodness season 1 was awesome. Season 2 was trying way too hard. Rookie mistake. Nice try though, back off on the overall darkness for next season and perhaps you'll regain my admiration. OCD and ill outbursts were just way too morose for my taste. Best of luck with that and hope you've made a full recovery on season 3.
  • Chill out and enjoy

You people getting worked up about this not being original and it reflecting the ideologies of its creators…well yeah, that's kind of what people do when they write TV shows, they use their own ideas and experiences to write the stories. And sure, sometimes it isn't that original because a lot of what happens to these girls is also happening to girls everywhere, but again, kind of the freaking point. It's relatable. When you start writing clever TV scripts instead of hateful iTunes reviews, maybe we'll listen to what your ideologies are. Until then, try to let go of your angst and find the humor in these kinds of shows.
