great film! bomb it 2 is a punchy, fast paced intro to some of the personalities that make up the global street art scene. amazing that the film was able to get all that access to some interesting artists. whereas the first film focused on the juxtaposition between street art and global advertising relative to ideas of public space, bomb it 2 provides more intimate conversations with the artists. great doc.

Really dig the global aspect of the piece. Interesting to see the varied styles from all around the world. Just as interesting to note is how universal the need to create, express, share and build community. Also appreciate the filmmaker putting the artists front and center and allowing them to tell their own stories. HIGHLY recommend.

This project was supported by a Kickstarter and that message of community is through out this movie. It is inspiring to see what is going on around the world and how the street art world is evolving. I recommend this to anyone who is interested in the constantly changing art world.

Such a good film! I picked up a lesson on politics and art all at the same time in the middle of an interesting story, bravo to the artists and filmmaker.

A fascinating insider look at the world of graffiti art. With a funky soundtrack, brilliant time-lapse shots which show the graffiti taking shape before your eyes, and inspiring characters this documentary gave me a whole new respect for graffiti artists! This is a really fun and enjoyable documentary and will appeal to graffiti virgins and experts alike.

Reiss' no holds-barred documentary bridges intercultural gaps we didn't even no existed. He redefines "graffiti" from illicit hobby to expression of the soul- a rare art form where people are able to influence their environment as much as their environment influences them. I always question why graffiti artists put themselves at risk to perform this type of art, in most parts of the world it's considered a felony and has some serious consequences. In the film, a Malaysian artist explains that authorities will strip you naked and whip you with a soaking wet rattan, ouch... Jon Reiss takes you around the world meeting artists from Bethlehem, Hong Kong, Copenhagen, Bangkok, Singapore and a plethora of other cities/cultures and really gives you a strong understanding behind the story/motivation of graffiti artists. I really appreciate the risks that were taken by Jon Reiss and the other filmmakers involved to pull together these stories, I will certainly never look at graffiti art the same.

If you love graffiti, street art, and self expression in general, then this is a must see global journey!

So many filmmakers make a great movie and then try to make a follow up and fail. Reiss made a great movie in Bomb It and then followed it up with an equally impressive film. Bomb It 2 continues the exploration of graffiti in public space, but delves deeper into the plight of the artists themselves all while taking the viewer to locations that get little attention from the art world in general. Whether you've seen Bomb It (I recommend seeing it!) or not, Bomb It 2 is an interesting and entertaining movie and makes you want to get up!

This is one of the best documentaries I have seen in 2013. As the story and the search begins, I surely got caught up in the narrative. There's also plenty of humor here in this tale of parallel universes.
