Seemed amateur because of the selective focus and lack of character development. There just wasn't enough story here for me to really have something to grasp onto. This says a lot because I am typically really turned on by quiet, ambiguous story lines. The characters were set up to be super cliched, particularly in the Poust and Installation scenes. I suppose if there were any depth to this film whatsoever it was found in the scene where they are attempting to work a patch of soil in order to write a blog post. The characters were incredibly lost and diluted which may say a lot about the 'creative culture' and their inability to connect with reality.
