This film is funny but these jokes have been done before. Very good cast though and I think the film greatly improves in the last half & ending. Watch it if you like Dany Boon, which I do.

This movie is just too stupid to be anything but annoying - and I'm an easy critic. The protagonist is supposed to be money savvy yet he hooks up with a realtor so unscrupulous even a ten year old could spot it and two absurdly incompetent contractors in an attempt to surprise his wife with a dream vacation home. Investing several hundred thousand euros he continually throws good money after bad with such ridiculous carelessness it's painful to watch. Who does that? Dany Boon is great but save your money on this one.

Seriously, how can a stupid movie like this be funny? So they made the last five minutes a happy ending but leading up to those last five minutes I kept wondering when I am going to laugh and this movie is a bad version of " Dumb and dumber" I rented it cause of those high ratings and viewers saying that it is so good they would watch it again? Really? It must be a french sense of humor cause I would like to buy my 1hour and 40 minutes back. It is a stupid stupid movie. I want my $ 2.99 back.

Not much to say other than its amazingly good french comedy. I really like Dany Boon.

I didn't know that Dany Boon had directed a comedy previously to his bigger hits Bienvenue chez les Ch'tis and Nothing to Declare but this less regional and more universal film delivers the good in a less subtle yet probably funnier manner!
