The previews implied this was a scary movie. I guess you could call it a drama. It’s not a Thriller at all. It’s a really stupid movie with no plot. Don’t waste your time or money watching this movie.

It was good not every movie has to be an award winning movie to be enjoyable. I wish Kate Beckinsale did more movies like this. Just rent it & relax and enjoy the movie

Sure, not the best movie ever, but compared to some of her movies, I do like this one. It has some great scenery, visuals, and a decent action thriller. Yeah, the shower scene is no big deal except you can tell just how incredibly beautiful Kate is, but you can't buy it just for that, so I am somewhat glad that she was not so visually naked in that scene. And what up with her apartment door, it was not lockable? I had seen this before and almost did not pay the $8 to own it, but I decided to go ahead, since I thought for sure that I would watch it more than just once. And I am very picky at what I do buy on here.

Saw this when first released. It flatlined for me and such a shame because it could have been an awesome movie but failed. 🙈

I have been and remain a fan of Kate Beckinsales as she appears in such big block buster sci-fi epics as the Underworld saga, Van Helsing or even more recently Total Recall. But strip away the grand special effects and flipped one liners and I'm afraid her true abilities as an actress become earth shatteringly clear. This movie is an abomination an insult to Carpenters The Thing which remains a classic well executed and an emotional and cinema-graphic feast, a triumph of its' time. This half dead Polar Bear seems stranded in the middle of the ocean left behind by the already receded ice. She and all those around her appear lost before the first scene is shot... This is in part do to the clumsy poorly crafted script and even lesser developed characters. As the bodies begin to pile up you find yourself cheering for the mostly unseen creature. Sadly for this production I must say I was more impressed with Carpenter's The Thing's special effects than this sluggish half starved beast. Keep in mind the fore mention is over 30yrs olde. On a positive note if you still opt to see this affront to movie making.... After about a half hour or so the whole thing falls apart so completely that it becomes unintentionally rather funny, laugh out load funny...one might say it does such a good job at being a bad Sci-Fi thriller that it transforms itself into an action comedy of errors... Blinding laughable errors.... Enjoy, if you dare?

I like this movie.

Stupid and slow

This movie is worth the ten bucks to buy it it was such a good movie. Some of the story line doesn't make sense at first then when you keep watching it makes sense. Over all I would highly recommend this movie
