For the first hour or so, Year One was funny, stupid, and delightfully silly. After a while though, it became so boring, so lame, so unfunny, I almost stopped watching it.

I'm a big Michael Cera fan, so I tried hard to find some redeeming qualities to the movie, but was unable to do so. The plot is formulaic, the jokes are as juvenile and tired. Definitely a disappointment.

If you're an aspiring film critic, you'll dislike this film. But if you like sketch comedy and find Jack Black and Michael Cera funny, you think this film is hilarious. That cocky bravado thing Jack does works perfectly with that wimpy bashful thing Mike does.

Dis movie is great Its funny it spreads humor every minute from discovering gays to burning virgins rubbing on a fat priest I recommend for anyone who looks for a good laugh :D

How can this movie get a worse rating than Don't mess with the Zohan? That was probably the worst movie of the year but i loved year one. Jack Black and Micheal Cera are great and the movie was hilarious. Maybe it wasn't an oscar winner and its not for people who are looking for deep meaning in their movies but it was really funny.

I love the jack black movies but this Movie is so dumb and Boring! İm sorry jack black. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY..

dont listen to a single 1 of these reviews just rent the movie and see for urself i found it great u might hate it but i think that every movie deserves a chance

This is the worst movie I've ever seen. The only reason it does'nt have one star is because of the one or two actually funny parts in the movie
