Aside from the brilliant cinematography, the portrayal of how advanced German engineering with concrete is on full display. Getting to see perspectives of both sides of the trenches I was hooked, with combat scenes never over dramatized and probably accurate to the lack of accuracy soldiers had in this war.

It starts when he wakes up in the dark and then starts running through the town completely on fire, encountering several German soldiers, and the young girl and child. So haunting, yet beautiful.

I've seen many war films but none of them were like this one. Not only is it a great movie but its shown in a single shot from beginning to end. Such an epic film!!!

I got slightly offended that the main actor looks ugly, but the storyline is at a crawl and boring to the point I rather be doing my taxes. Don’t waste your money
