This amazing biopic brings to life in a very real way the struggles of Lily (Einar) and Gerda in their love and devotion to each other their entire lives in a very different time and it was an emotional ride but an inspiring story from all sides. Eddie Redmayne and Alicia Vikander were a perfect pairing and could really emote the details of the emotions in a way I couldn't imagine from any other two actors their ages. This film will stay with you a lot longer than the 2 hours it takes to see it!

you feel for the characters, but Redmayne went too far into fetish territory. Vikander carries the film
  • Very Uncomfortable

This film had a lot of potential but some of the scenes were very hard to watch. Great actors, not so great story. I understand transgender is more acceptable now but I feel this film was a little to much to soon.
