Les Misérables

I think it was hyped and advertised like Blair Witch - another horrid movie. I don’t know how this movie managed to muster such a following. Kudos to the marketing team that pulled it off. I think they realized they had a flop and sensationalized it through some very high-priced masterful psychological advertising campaign. EVERYONE SAYS ITS AMAZING SO IT MUST BE. I’d rather watch the peanut butter solution on repeat for eternity than watch 1 second of this movie ever again. 🤮🤮🤮🤮

In my opinion Les Miserables is the true cultural of cliches and method storytelling to tell a unconventional story because with all the beautiful musical numbers from the lead actors were impressive for many reasons this film isn't as well recived by many audience members is because they thought the actors weren't very stylized with their singing skills and acting at the same time but i found Les Miserables to be quite the runtime of entertainment and straigey of characters that felt ether goofy or likable. I can understand that Tom Hopper can shoot entire films with many options of character development but some of the characters in the film were dumbed down and to realistc to shine. Iam not saying Les Miserables is a bad movie unlike it tells a muscial story that concerns it's viewers of breaking a conventional story than fine this film is rather lovely and brilliantly exceuted because with all the misguided material that is shown in the film i felt that Les Miserables is the complete opposite of Willam Shakespeare and Hamlet mixes together with 19th century france but the look of france is beyond beautiful and every single actor did a fantastic job playing each character. I tried to cover the fact that Les Miserables has the worst editing in film history i felt the editing was unnesscary and distracting for me to understand what kind of editing but overall Les Miserables has it's flaws and may be overlong as Rock of Ages another film that breaks the rules of music and character development but Les Miserables finds it's own cultural and dominicnation musical numbers that felt like a stage play right out of a broken heart-7/10.

Over eight years, sixth time watching.

Les Misérables is one of my favorite shows of all time, and I was so excited to see it with the all-star cast, but I was greatly disappointed to say the least. I love all the actors, but some aren’t made for musicals (such as Russel Crowe.) Crowe did an amazing job with the character of Javert, but the singing lacked significantly. Hugh Jackman was phenomenal as Jean Valjean, but his vocals weren’t there at this point in his life. I think he could pull it off now, but he count not then. I loved Amanda Seyfried in Mamma Mia and thought she was an amazing Sophie, yet I didn’t like her as Cosette. I thought her portrayal was boring and lacked emotion, and the vibrato on the notes sounded forced. Her higher notes sounded auto tuned and I was disappointed by that, as Cosette is my favorite. I have nothing bad to say about Eddie, Aaron, Samantha, Anne, Helena, or anyone else. I loved the stunning visuals of the film. Except for the beginning, as I liked how they did that on stage more so than in the movie. I liked how the switched the order of the songs, putting I Dreamed a Dream AFTER Lovely Ladies over before it, as Fantine has lost more by this point in the story. I did not like the way that The Confrontation was set up and how Valjean fought with cement...and how it was around other hospital patients and nurses.

I have seen all the movies. This is the best version, the one closest to the book. The only one you need to watch.
