I think this volume has the best second season episodes ever. I bought "Quitting Cold Koala", and "Diary Of A Mad Newswoman", and I bought those on my tablet plus "The Jessie-nator: Grudgement Day".

Like most Disney shows, Jessie is unrealistic, highly stereotypical, and includes so much crude adult humor it's not funny. Let's go down the LONG AND BORING list of things that make Jessie a waste of time. The Adults- Take a look at the parents; just how many episodes have you even SEEN THEM IN? 5? 10? Maybe 15 or less? How sad! The mom is obsessed with her work and the dad is really immature so they aren't exactly role-model parents or anything CLOSE to that. Next, there's Jessie, the nanny from a Texas military base who came to New York to be an actress. Well, she is directed towards herself, thinks she can act when she CAN'T and has no concern for the kids whenever her "acting career" comes into place. Lastly, we have Bertram, the lazy butler who doesn't listen and has made multiple suicidal references on the show. The Kids- The kids are spoilt and petty and at like total brats! Emma, the oldest is a terrible role model for her younger siblings. She obsesses over fashion, especially with her lame Kitty Couture account and is placed in the dumb blonde clique. Then we have Luke, the stereotypical player who hits are girls all the time, including Jessie. We have Ravi, the Indian boy who's constantly getting picked on and has no self respect. Finally, there's Zuri, the obnoxious 8 year old who says things 8 year olds should NEVER say. The Pet- Mrs. Kipling, the Asian Water Monitor, is seen as a flesh eating monster on the show. Plus, she is shown doing various things that are physically impossible for lizards to do like slapping people with her tail (which could NEVER happen!). Hidden Adult Humor- I've included a few examples written just below here. In the episode where Bertram auditions for a cooking show, he makes a suicidal reference regarding a rope. Also, in the episode with Maia Mitchell where Jessie's on a movie set, Luke shows up and says "I'm seeing DOUBLE and I like it" so, yea. So there you have it, that's my two cents, and I think Jessie is a terrible show with vicious stereotypes and bad jokes. Don't waste your money. I recommend Nickelodeon which is actually funny unlike this piece of garbage.

I love this show and it is hilarious! It is an extremely unique show. Denny Ryan is a good actor. Although I particularly like the kids acting. I like how you see them grow up. Emma is my least favorite and is a stereotypical American girl but has some funny lines. Luke is stereotypical too but everyone loves a prankster! Boyce is a good actor but there aren't many roles for him outside of the Disney Channel. Ravi is the most unique character I've seen ever. He is funny, has a great accent and is the kid who gets bullied. He is the protagonist of the kids but gets led astray by Luke and Zuri a lot. Karan Brar has a bright future outside of Jessie. Zuri's a good character but not my personal favorite. Bertram is a hilarious character. A lazy, sarcastic butler is just genius! I'd write more but the keyboard... It's so far away!
