    This is so not real. The boys don't have Amish haircuts. Amish girls don't wear makeup & have their eyebrows done. Clothes don't look genuine. So disappointed with this show & I haven't even gotten thru the 1st episode.

    Just watched the first? episode on TLC and what a great show! It's not only fun to see them discover new things, but it's interesting to see what doesn't change about human behavior. This show is unique, entertaining, insightful and a must see.

    Just watched the first episode and was very impressed! I think this is going to be a real eye opener for many "English"... These young adults are embarking on a fantastic adventure! They are truly risking it all ( loss of friends, family, entire social structure) just to " visit" NYC and experience things that we all take for granted. These kids are really, really special and naive, but also wise beyond their years. I'm really looking forward to this show!

    I saw the premiere of TLC's, "Breaking Amish" and I must say the show is just inherently interesting. There is actually some substance to this show. The idea of packing your bags and going to New York is pretty intimidating for anyone, let alone someone from their background. I definitely will be watching the future episodes to see how they handle it all and where they end up. Great show! I highly recommend it. "G" in LA
