Description

Every episode of the Golden Globe and BAFTA-winning comedy from Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant. The Office (UK) is the comedy phenomenon that reveals the cringe-worthy truth about life in the white-collar world. Follow middle-manager David Brent and his 'family' as they work hard, play hard, laugh, cry and fall in love. Every classic moment is here, from David's training day sing-a-long, to the moving finale at the Christmas party. After only two seasons and two specials, The Office (UK) has been declared the defining comedy of its generation and a must-see show for anyone who has ever worked a nine to five.

for all the people (like i was) saying the uk version isn’t as good because it isn’t as funny, maybe you’re right. maybe they payed off with the comedy. but the emotions and the passion of the show is insurmountable. i loved it! this is now my favourite show along with the us version. 11/10 would recommend!

Everyone says the British version of the show os so much better. Well, After watching this, I do not believe that is true. The boss is actually pretty funny, but lacks the childish, goofy charm of Michael Scott. Gareth is just some weird meth head looking guy that is simply inferior to Dwight, and Dawn isn't even half as cute as pam. Maybe i'm biased, because the characters in the US version had more time to develop, and I am American. Or this version just has a more subtle style of comedy. Either way, I don't see why this is any better than the US adaption (not counting seasons 8-9 of coarse).

Being from Texas a lot of my friends don't understand the show because of the British accent but once they started to follow the story line and picked up the lingo they found it to be bloody hilarious, this will always be my favorite show

    By me, again.
Sometimes the complaints will be FALSE.

...just one question, why did they change the Jesus Christ dance song at the end of the 2nd special episode? It's now "Wonderful Christmastime" by Paul McCartney. This song choice doesn't make sense--it doesn't look right because everyone is now not dancing to the beat and it sounds like an mp3--like it's not coming from the sound system in the office there. Oh well. Doesn't ruin the show, just not quite the ultra original version of the show. Still, amazing. Buy it.

all of you that say the UK version is better, is more then likely from the UK.. because of course the US version is much, much better to my opinion, and 99% of America

you gotta watch this show as if it were a completely different one thank the american version. Both are spectacular in their own way and i enjoy them both, but if you think michael scott is an absurd boss...just wait till you meet david brent!

Is it just me or is it impossible to understand their heavy british accent. I would turn on subtitles, but then you might as well be reading a book.
