CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Season 9

Description

The CSIs face a year of challenge and change as they say goodbye to some of their long-time team members and welcome new ones to the night shift. Grissom, Catherine and the rest of the group deal with the aftermath of Warrick Brown’s shooting, and then must adjust to the irreverent personality of new CSI Riley Adams (Lauren Lee Smith). Later in the season, the team will be in for a shock when revered leader Gil Grissom bids goodbye to Vegas and a new CSI, simply known as “The Professor,” (Laurence Fishburne), joins their ranks.

I love the show csi but I don't think I will be buying any more. iTunes changed the price a couple weeks ago from 14.99 to 35.99. What the heck? Really? Thanks iTunes.

True the show seems a bit off without Grissom however the casting of Laurence Fishbourne was pure genius. He has an incredible presence as an actor and seems to inspire his fellow actors in their own performances. My only suggestion for improvement is to add more science back into the show. It seemed to be more prevalent in the first few episodes and the academia combined with the mystery story lines was an original appeal of CSI.
Where are the early seasons?

I absolutely adore CSI. I was the most die-hard fan you would ever find. But when Sara left, then Warrick died, followed by Grissom's departure, the show lost all of its flare. I stuck with the show until Grissom left; after that, I completely dropped the show, something I never thought I'd do. Gil Grissom made CSI, and not even an actor as talented as Laurence Fishburne can replace him. I miss the way the show was greatly and I don't think it will ever be the same.
CSI without Grissom is like X-Files without Mulder...
