The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, Season 3

Skinwalker ranch itself is fascinating and deserves to be investigated. But this show is ridiculous. The absurd editing and music makes it unwatchable. Stop treating your audiences like they’re stupid. We can watch a show without dramatic music playing the entire 40 minutes. This latest group to investigate the ranch is basically doing nothing. It’s clear they are just plodding along to generate enough content for as many tv episodes as possible. Any time they get close to something, they just stop. And move on to something else. There is no accounting for any of the phenomena they experience, which is annoying because much of it is either explainable, or it’s not, and they spend no time trying to explain any of what they experience. This has the same vibe as Bigfoot and ghost hunter shows, all of which are gigantic nothings. Skinwalker ranch is a unique place where something is certainly happening, and this group seems to understand that, but instead of getting to the bottom of it, they do just enough for a tv show. Hugely disappointing.

Pros: The show is fun to watch and the content is super interesting. The people involved (for the most part) have interesting inter-personal dynamics. I love the input from the local people especially that of the native americans. There are some really creepy events that occur that certainly cement the show's mystery vibe. Cons: The cuts are often overly dramatic and sometimes eyerolling; additionally, the repetitive nature of the cuts can get really annoying. The dialogue and reactions are hard to swallow at times; I wonder if they are moderating their behavior intentionally to make the show more intense. The conclusions presented often contain a dose of unscientific pespective that is hurting my ability to trust the presenters objectivity. Note: My personal view comes from that of a Christian believer and I do not believe that UAPs are aliens so take that into consideration when reading my review.

Once you brush past a few theatrics and made for TV moments, you can see there is serious scientific reporting happening here and being captured on film. Some moments must be exaggerated because after all the funding for this research is being done through television. I believe the ranch lives up to its name in regards to high strangeness if for no other reason it is a very compelling bingeable watch.

Great show. Skinwalker Ranch has always been known to have strange and unexplained events. I’m anxious to see what the team will discover.

Best show in my opinion in regards to ufos once you brush past the dramatic cuts the raw data implications is astounding. Love the cast and the hard work they put in

Fake. Unscientific. Poorly acted and absolutely illogical. It’s amazing they were able to stretch this out for three seasons.

Keeps getting better!
