It's Series 8 of Taskmaster and some things remain comfortingly familiar. Greg Davies is still the terrifying Taskmaster and Alex Horne remains his simpering secretary. But there are five new courageous contestants who, probably misguidedly, think they have what it takes to impress the Taskmaster. They are: Iain Stirling, Joe Thomas, Lou Sanders, Paul Sinha and Sian Gibson. But only one will lift that hallowed 24-carat skull to become the shiny apple of Greg's exquisite eye. That person will need to master such tasks as: constructing a seductive ventriloquist's dummy; causing a hideous food-based injury; and offering a nice apology to Alex - having previously done something horrible to the poor man. Succeed, and they will find the Taskmaster to be a benevolent being. Fail, and they'll discover that hell hath no fury than a Taskmaster disappointed.
