Reviews

  • Worried that 5 star reviews are a scam

It’s hard to quantify how bad this show is. As my wife and I watched, we wondered mere moments in to the pilot if the show was somehow making fun of something, even itself. As we watched in horror as it continued on with terrible jokes, an obnoxious, seemingly constant, laugh track, we mourned the loss of hopes in any kind of creativity or humor. We gave more episodes a shot, but they’re all just…bad.
  • Funny but you need to get past first episode(s)

I didn’t really like the first episode but afterwards, this show improved gradually. You need to give it a chance, it is funny.
  • I feel sorry for Ken!

This is one of the surprises of this tv season for me. I went in expecting a meh sitcom and found something great. It's flawed people making flawed decisions and being funny. What's not to love?
  • So much hope dashed.

Loved Ken Jeong in everything he's been in but this is just painful. His acting is so over the top it saddens me. He can act and he is truly funny, just not here. Gave it a chance but won't be watching anymore.
  • Too late to save, I fear

The just never let anything breathe in the first two episodes. It’s a large family/work cast of characters that we’re really not allowed to get comfortable with before the attempts to throw zingers start coming non-stop. People will complain about the “comedy", when the real stumble here is the "situation”.
  • Funny show

One of the the best new shows on television. I love the humor at the hospital. And there so funny at home.
  • Wanted to like it but...

    Writing is awful.
  • Awkward and unfuny

I liked Ken Jeong on “Community” but this is painful to watch. The laugh track every 5 seconds only served to underscore how unfunny the jokes were.
  • Ugh, live studio audience

Funny man being ruined by a sitcom.
