Description

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.

Creative story with deep meanings and a cast of unforgettable characters. And since Inside Out 2 is officially out, this is one of my favorite Pixar films along with Toy Story. I really don't mind the emotional scenes, but this movie is the main definition of "an emotional roller coaster," filled with silliness, humor, adventure, teamwork. And most importantly, remembering our memories and forgetting what we should not remember. My favorite emotions are Joy, Anger, and Disgust.

This is the only movie in the world that I will cry at. Give me lion king, give me bambi, I’ll just shrug and keep watching. Make me watch the ending of la la land or toy story 4 and I’ll say, “that’s not how I would’ve done it” but give me this movie and I will cry my eyes out. Ok, this is an amazing movie. I love joy I am an eternal optimist and the oldest of six siblings so I felt like I could relate with joy as the “leader” of the emotions. I loved the funny jokes in the movie. The whole getting a song stuck in your head, brain freeze, imaginary friends, long term memory, and dream studio made me crack up. It was the part when joy was watching all of the faded memories that got me. I moved when I was a little younger than Riley, and I did not like it at all. So when this movie came out I related with that right away. But watching this again when I was a little older, I realized that I was still clinging onto those memories of myself when I was really little and wanted to relive them because I had such a happy time. The part where bing bong dies is sad but it wasn’t that what got me it was the letting go of the older memories and slowly moving away to adult life. It was so sad I’m crying just thinking about it. Anyway I completely recommend it’s for kids and adults kids won’t get the deeper meaning of the movie but they’ll still enjoy it. By the way one of my favorite parts was when disgust says “I’m starting to envy the dead rat” 😝

They should really make a sequel to the movie. If it is like super cringe, then I am disappointed. This movie is the heart of many fans ( me )

So I noticed that if you look REALLY close at Sadness and Joy’s hair, they’re both glittery its he same shade of blue. They also both have blue eyes and stick together a lot throughout the entire movie. Im thinking maybe they are both sisters since they were born on the same day but Joy just doesn’t know it, because the other emotions came out some days/weeks later after Sadness and Joy were born. But anyway Disney did a good job of making a very emotional but funny and happy movie it hit me right in the feels
