gets a 2 for the horrible dubbing throughout the entire movie -super weird

Classic Hollywood bait and switch. The previews looked really good. Then you watch a plotless movie and it’s worse than being stuck in traffic.

Although some decisions made it look bad but it is still enjoyable for director’s fans. In my opinion the directing is what we always expect from a veteran in this genre like Mann. The Soundtrack is something that made me ignore the character developing flaws. The other problem of the movie is the last hour of it, the movie gets so slow and sluggish in comparison to the first one hour when the movie was fast-paced The last thing I noticed about the movie was it’s resemblance to Mann’s “Heat” which isn’t really a bad thing minus the character development... I think the choice of Hemsworth as Hathaway was made by Mann in order to make a hit out of this movie because of Hemsworth box office success but the director should have sticked to his guts. I am a Michael Mann fan, I like the movies he makes anyway but this movie isn’t his best nor his worst. I recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of this great director.

This was complete hack job, just to cash in.

It was okay when I did not have any cyber security knowledge but after I got my degree in computer science and cyber security I realized how inaccurate this move is. If you lack no computer knowledge you might find entertaining but if you have the knowledge it’s insulting to your tradecraft

Mann can make a very entertaining movie, and Hemsworth is a great action actor.

I am very surprised by the average rating and the reasoning stated by reviewers. If (you understand the reasons why filmmakers would choose to film in a way that reflects the emotions of the characters, and you understand concepts of technology at a more sophisticated level than downloading apps and browsing the internet) { You will enjoy this movie. } else { You will not enjoy this movie. } Personally, I thought that it was awesome. I enjoy tech and artful filmmaking, so perhaps it is not for you if you do not enjoy such things.

I thought I would like this movie because of the technical part but It's sooooooo boring. The only good part of the movie is Chris. I wish the girlfriend had more of a part then being a pretty face and the movie could have more action as well.

Do not believe the bad reviews, excellent movie!

Serious film making right here... Mann knows how to craft a brilliant film. Nice work!
