The 2 stars is for the picture quality there is lots of static and scratches in the movie. The movie is good and Art the clown is my favorite character.

No where near as good as Terrifier, but still worth the watch. Art the clown rocks!
  • creepyshow with better gore and more unsettling

I really enjoyed this movie. I love horror movies and I was quite surprised that this one was actually attention grabbing and in the end unsettling. It reminded me of creepshow by Stephen king but with more grotesque gore and a more eerie feeling. It’s a collection of 3 short stories and all are intriguing. The alien one was a bit odd but still I enjoyed it nonetheless. The actors did great and the the main protagonist (mike giannelli) made this character come alive! He truly is what made this movie worth 5 stars. He doesn’t even need to speak - his image is enough to invoke a reaction and he has the mannerism down. I enjoy researching and learning about serial killers and he reminded me of several and it was a good surprise! Do keep in mind that this movie has 70s to 80s “bad” in a good way gore/production which oddly made this movie a bit more realistic. I would recommend this movie for any horror fan - my favorite movies are Texas chainsaw massacre from the 80s and evil dead (original) to give you an idea of what my normal movies include. Give this movie a shot - it’s better than many low budget movies I’ve seen in the last few years. Also i loved “terrifier” but that movie is for true horror fans because it chooses to be more upfront and grotesque with their gore which I loved, while this movie could be enjoyed by even those who aren’t normally not horror movie fans 😉

Stupid dumb acting just a waste of time
  • A monotonous, poor attempt at a Halloween flick

This movie is a anthology, but somehow the makers believed they could pull off the same terror by reusing the threat in every circumstance. Its not very good, I suggest you don't watch it, and certaintly do not purchase or rent it. It has an interesting idea BUT is very poorly executed.

Like college film projects strung together with a horrible device. The preview looks decent but this movie is terrible. Please don't waste your money or time. I am going to ask for a refund. I'm a big horror fan but this is pure drivel. One star is way too high.

Did I watch the same movie as some of you other reviewers? Just a terrible terrible movie. I struggle to find one redeeming quality of this flick.

I've seen a LOT of horror movies and this one is ok, I wouldn't recommend paying full price for it though. The trailer looked great in my opinion but the movie didn't live up to my expectations. It's similar to the VHS series in a lot of ways but it's not filmed in a found footage format.
  • Great Character Who Deserves A Better Story

The Clown in this movie has a great look and demeanor. I'm all for the "weird story" in literary fiction i.e. H.P. Lovecraft, but unfortunately those types of tropes rarely translate well onto the big screen. The disconnected style of this story leaves the audience asking questions and filling in the gaps for themselves, which does not work well in films. I hope that this character is re-purposed within a new story where we learn his motive and a little backstory. I give the Clown an A+ and the overall film a C-.
