I fell in love with this family, and found myself a bit envious of their brilliant minds, loving connections, and tender hearts. A deeply personal story that makes me feel a deep respect for the courage it took to share it with the world. Thank you.

Brilliant, raw, real, beautiful. An honest story about family with all the crazy plot twists that makes truth stranger than fiction.

I felt "catfished" by this one - something doesn't come off a sincere or right (either in the chronology of the story telling or what was known/not known by the filmmaker). There is no doubt Sarah Polley can tell a good story - at the end I just felt manipulated by a filmmaker looking to shock as much as anything else

I deeply loved this special movie. Our time here is so brief and Sarah captured the truth of her singular story so masterfully. One of my favorite films.

This is one of the best movies i've seen in the past year. My wife and I enjoyed it so much it was the topic of conversation the next day. Lots of twists and turns!

One of the better films I’ve seen this year. Life is not clean, it does not follow a Hollywood formula, and our endeavors do not always have happy endings. This is a film which speaks to those truths and to the compassion and humanity found as one family confronts a shocking revelation. I applaud Sarah for making an incredibly compelling film and her family for unflinchingly inviting us in to their lives and their uncensored emotions. Bravo.

This is a story worth watching not only for how well it is told and how brilliantly it is directed, but for the tenderness, love, acceptance and forgiveness that each family member shows
