John Wayne stars as a rancher who will lose his livestock after his ranch hands desert him to follow a gold strike unless he can transform a ragtag bunch of schoolboys into cowboys. Based on the novel by William Dale Jennings.

However it needs to be in he proper aspect ratio of 2:35 to 1. It also deserves the 4K and Atmos treatment.

One of my all-time favorite movies, but I should have read the reviews ahead of my purchase. The beautiful vistas of the west are cropped out because someone (iTunes? Studio?) decided NOT TO PRESERVE THE ORIGINAL ASPECT RATIO. When will they realize that most of these movies will be watched on our huge television screens at home. Very disappointed. 5-stars for the movie, NO stars for the cropped imagery.

One of Wayne’s best films, but goddammit, when will iTunes stop cropping classic movies that are in Scope? This movie was 2:35 ratio, and iTunes has cut it down to 1:85.
