Disneynature: Wings of Life

This was a great movie. It is everything beautiful, the cinematography , the narration, and the educational value.. All soothing to the eyes, ears, the mind and the heart. I have watched it many times, it always relaxes me, in just the right way. You won’t be disappointed with this Disney movie, kids might like it too. Enjoy.

This film is a fine example of amazing time-lapse and aerial cinematography and the message is an important one. You will not be disappointed. You'll learn about the migration of monarchs from Mexico to Canada, the role that bees, hummingbirds, and bats play in pollination, and the incredible mechanisms that flowers have developed to attract pollinators. It might not keep the attention of the youngest viewers (under 7 or 8), but is otherwise great for all ages.

bought this movie to see actual winged life, but only saw a movie that had a hidden agenda. I hoped to show my kids beautiful scenes of butterflies and birds. Two scenes(short) of butterflies, lasting about 15 seconds each. LAME. Do not buy if you want to see a film about winged things in nature.

In addition to having been beautifully directed, produced and narrated… with so many fabulous macro visuals… this documentary also has a powerful and timely message that ALL people need to hear and pay attention to… as the information presented is vital. This is a wonderful ORGANIC message for the world, especially during a time when vested interests in the multi-billion dollar biotech industry are directly influencing our American federal government to recklessly promote the genetic engineering of our food supply (cross-pollination by wind, birds and bees is inevitable). Genetically engineered foods include: mixing incompatible multiple species DNA, with bacteria and viruses that have been laden with toxic chemical pesticides. This causes the digestive systems of all who consume the genetically engineered foods to become little toxic chemical factories. Many Organic farmers, beekeepers and independent environmental scientists all over the globe… believe that toxic pesticides and GMO's cause a plethora of degenerative diseases and are also linked with the disappearance of our honey bee colonies and other pollinators. The same pollinators who protect the delicate interconnectedness of the natural ecology on our planet. So, I would highly recommend this documentary to everyone… including children. Thank you to every individual who was involved in the making of this documentary. Congratulations on a very fine film. May all people become informed and enlightened…. and Go Organic,100% !
