A great movie about confidence and friendship. It’s the pie of all pies if you are looking for knowledge. Guilty

The book is so interesting and it made me really want to watch the movie but the movie gets rid of all the magical creativity that the book has to offer I was excited to see it but I would give this movie 3% rotten tomatoes

Rather dated, and not even in a groovy or psychedelic way. My 8 year old had read this children's classic in his 3rd grade class and was disappointed as it didn't seem to capture what his imagination saw. The animation just doesn't translate we'll, and led both of us to thinking what a wonderful remake this would be as a movie or broadway show. See if you must, but I think this one misses - so better to leave the joy from the book to the imagination.

This movie is one that every child will rememeber. I watched this when I was a kid, and I still watch this movie whenever I have a bad day. So creative and beautifully put together and always cheers me up ang gives me hope in life. Your time won't be wasted.

The young boy Milo is bored with the known world until a mysterious tollbooth arrives. Although, this starts out as live action it quickly becomes an alterante, animated world that Milos has to help put back in order. Mel Blanc who is best known for his work as Bugs Bunny and friends & many other known talents lent their voices to this gem of movie. A great film for children that teaches life lessons in a very entertaining manner. This movie is based on a wonderful book of the same name by Norton Juster.

This was the first real book I read all the way through in a single sitting. I was probably 9 or 10 ('69 or '70). It was one of my favourite books. When I finally saw the movie many years later, I loved it as well. Brilliant movie and a must see for kids. I love the word play.

Okay, so don't listen to the tomatometer. Listen to the people who love the movie/book. It's very close to the book, except for the fact that the music lady is missing. Either way, totally worth the money. LOVE THIS MOVIE.
