Scary for kids under 6, horrible animation and sound (way worse than orig). If you want more Rudolph or Frosty, just watch the originals again.

Very nice movie. May not be as good as the original but still a great movie to watch. However it was pretty creepy. Its not like 8 year olds know the difference. Anyway, I love Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and I was thinking about buying this movie soon. Hopefully I might get a chance to have "Christmas in July" and I can have it on my laptop. Thank you, iTunes.
  • Terrible sound, somewhat scary for younger viewers

This movie's really terrible sound mix made it impossible to understand the dialogue. Sounds like it was recorded using my pillow. The overall quality is nowhere near the original Rankin / Bass productions. It's a shame the better ones aren't available on the Store, and that we have to watch third rate efforts like this and Shiny New Year to get our Animagic™ fix.
