Mrs. Miniver

She is a brilliant actress! Mrs. M is one of her best films! The family portrayed is so likable... The story is incredibly heartwarming!!

I am a teenager and I absolutely love watching films and critiquing them. I especially enjoy old films and when I watched Mrs. Miniver I was truly moved. This movie is definitely a must-see. You have got to see it at least once, its that good. It's no wonder the movie did so well with awards and nominations and all that. To see the characters grow and change through life in London in the early WWII is very well done. There are points where you will occasionaly laugh, but be sure you have a box of tissues ready at hand. This movie keeps you on your toes and has a great plot. Greer Garson does an amazing job alongside Walter Pidgeon (Who is familiar to me as a much older Morbious in the movie: The Forbidden Planet). You'll love it because it is so real and shows you how life really is to be in war.

You will LOVE this film! The acting is superb! This movie made me a huge Greer Garson fan (just completed her filmography!). If you like films related to the war, this is definitely for you!

I can't say enough good things about this movie. If you like an old bloodless war film full of love, humor, society manners, scenery, characters, this is it. A real page turner. I'm not ignoring the superb acting or filming when I praise the direction and production, but to get the surprise and predictability into the show like this one is rare.

This movie is great for all ages. The acting is superb, as is the cast. One of my favorite movies of all time. I am so happy that this is on Itunes.
