Good movie. This movie is somewhat intact from the original. It’s missing the curb stomp scene and extended prison shower r*pe scene. Ed Norton was at the top of his game between this and Fight Club.

Let me guess, they think this movie is now too “woke” or whatever those pathetic sociopaths parrot from right wing media.

One of the most powerful films I ever seen. All the scenes that are shot in black and white paint a painful portrait of a man driven by hate and rage and the impact it has on his family. It’s a cautionary tale to anyone watching. A great movie but definitely, not for the faint at heart. There are scenes and depictions that may be too graphic. Overall I give the film 5 stars.

Excellent movie, a very powerful movie, an important movie. This is hard to watch, but its really well done all the way around, great writing. The performances are amazing. This is a master piece of cinema.

Great movie, but crucial scenes are removed.

I was 15 when I saw American History X in the theater and to this day, I still think it's one of the most compelling stories ever told. To my knowledge, the film isn't based on anyone in particular, but this is still a true story. Realistically, it's many true stories. I grew up in a community where many skinheads lived and it really hit home for me. Whether you like the movie or not, I think it's an important perspective to acknowledge.

This movie is really good. At the time of this review, I am a skinhead, but I wasn't sure whether or not to be a neo nazi or a trad. I have had racial hatred in the past due to a variety of factors. The message this movie gave me was eye opening. PS: The ending killed me.

A must see from Edward Norton!

This movie is a work of art robbed of an oscar for sure but besides that acting amazing camera work top notch lasting value priceless
