The Ymir grows again... in COLOR!

In its classic black & white form, this movie was thrilling to me as a fan of sci-fi from the '50's!
In its newly remastered version, the viewer can behold the reptilian 'ymir' in color for the first time! Ray Harryhausen, himself, oversaw the coloring process used to bring vibrant hues to the mutating beast from Venus! The structured pose of his monstrous creation is legendary; clawed talons at its side, elbows tensed back, poised for an aggressive attack! With its dragon-like resemblance and an unusual, forked tail, the ymir is one of Harryhausen's BEST stop-motion animations! If you have never seen this early sci-fi gem, you have surely missed a treat! Wait until you hear the voice of the creature!!! One of the strangest sounds to emanate from any of Ray's fantastic 'pets'! One of my absolute favorite films!!!
