I really enjoyed this movie with its superb color and pageantry; the songs were a classic behind the sterling vocals of Jane & Marilyn. When the two gals attempt to get the film roll from an investigator, you can only laugh the way they pull it off. The dress attire is excellent; a movie worth seeing often.

I like this movie a lot, but this is the second Marilyn Monroe movie I've run across ("The Seven Year Itch" is the other) in iTunes that has been inexplicably time-compressed. The run time is about 4 minutes shorter than the dvd version and the time listed on the Internet Movie Database (IMDB). It appears that there are no edits, but when played side-by-side with the dvd, the iTunes version runs faster.

I am a huge GPB fan and I know every word to this. When it was taken off Netflix, I resorted to iTunes, and the music on here is like 1 octave higher and a bit faster than the original music and it's driving me insane. Why??
  • Not in Cinemascope!

This great movie was filmed in a very widescreen Cinemascope. Itunes shows it as "full screen" that means a very large portion of the sides have been hacked off to make it full screen. This is a 20th Century Fox classic and it deserves far better treatment than this! Apple, please negoiate with 20th Century Fox to get a proper Cinemascope version. I'm sure Apple has the influence to get this done.

This is one of the greatest movies that I have ever seen. All the actors and actresses did wonderful and the musical numbers were fantastic! God bless Marilyn and Jane and may they rest in peace!

Its hard not love this movie. Both Russell and Monroe are stunningly beautiful. It is a must-have for any Monroe or Russell fan. The soundtrack is fantastic. The story is happy, campy, witty, and playful.
  • I'm not a big fan of Monroe but.....

This was actually really good! There are only a few of her movies that I like and this is definitely one of them! Plus it has the gorgeous Jane Russell in it! I wish they had done more movies together! I'm glad they didn't dub Monroe's singing voice, she really did well! Decide for yourself!
  • One of my favorites. :)
