Always liked this one. Good Director of sexy/steamy thrillers. Good cast too. Love the setting.

A must have classic!

It is a cliche'; american suburban wife falls for exotic frenchman who speaks with a french accent, with devastating consequences, told without a single interesting twist to the story. Watch it if you like seeing some nudity and sex with guilt, but otherwise really boring. What a waste!

Wow, what a powerful movie this is. Just happened upon it tonight and rented it. A must see. Bravo, Diane Lane and Richard Gere, bravo.

This is by far my favorite movie ever. I am Diane Lane's biggest fan and own every single one of her movies and love them all but this is my favorite. I could watch it over and over and over again. She was amazing in this movie and was robbed of the Oscar for it. And the musical score is absolutely breathtaking.
