Al at his best!

The nice thing about this fim is that it is neither senttimental nor does it insult your intelligence. It is more a romantic comedy-drama than a romantic comedy. The script is inteliigently written and the comedy is sustained by the delivery by the actors, not the situations. A solid movie about a man actively trying to get his life back together with a women who, unfortunately, is prevented by her past from taking the risk to love again. Pacino, Pfeiffer and Nathan Lane are terrific.

This my all time favorite romantic comedy , if you lost your faith in love , watch this film and feel it return you to a time in your life when you still believed that true love was possiable and maybe , just maybe , its to late for you to believe again.

This is one of the greatest romantic movies of the 90s. I love that "Clair de Lune" is played in the film.
