This movie is awesome. They don’t make movies like this anymore.
No Stevie Ray Vaughn here

In the nicest way possible I would like to correct an older post by a misshotstep, Vaughn had nothing to do with Crossroads. That duel was Vai vs. The Outstanding Ry Cooder, who is one of the absolute greatest! Great movie!

OMG! This movie does it all. The anticipation, the want and the conflict! A boy’s journey to becoming a man, a blues-man, is retiled with; desire, heart ache, and courage. Legba was the devil’s henchman and the kid is too pure to notice, until it too late. His mortal sole is on the table as he attempts to save his friends.
Legendary movie

I play guitar and have passion for the blues. I grew up watching this movie and I love it. It hurts though to see Steve Vai dropping that Ibanez.
Love it

Your review mentions "featuring on of the decades' best received motion picture soundtracks." Why can't we buy that?

I've seen this movie dozens of times and still can not get enough of it! If you are a guitar fanatic as I am...you will always find something useful and entertaining about this movie. Vai Rips it up...along with Ry Cooder....Can not beat this flick with a stick.

This was "the" best musical battle "ever" with Steve Vai vs. Stevie Ray Vaughn. Anyone who loves music can attest to that. This movie has stayed with me since childhood. Love it!
