While there are some magnificent set-pieces in this effort and wonderful suspense, what keeps this from being first-class Hitchcock is the fact that Cummings and Lane as leads are not up to the high standards set by such teams as Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll, Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman and Grant and Eva Marie Saint.

Good movie and it kept me on the edge of the seat. Good plot.

The flattering reviews of this awful movie must make Hitchcock spin in his grave.

Alfred hitchock was a genius and this movie proves it. It has such an interesting plotline along with non-stop action. The scenery is magnificently beautiful and the cast is legendary.

This movie is based on the a WWII premise of covert Nazi spies, whom are out to disrupt the "American war machine". It is not one of Hitchcock's best, but it does entertain, and there is an exceptional "symbolic ending to the movie".
