I had the most incredible opportunity to watch this when I was a young child. Now in my later 30's; I'm still in love with this movie and get the giggles and deep chuckles as I did when I was little one!

Again Cary Grant proves to be a great comedic actor. Only Capra could have brought so much to so little. It is well paced and the actors are great. I love intellectual comedy and this is one of the best.

Maybe this is a good movie, but I feel like Cary Grant was horribly miscast. I watched with higher expectations due to Mr. Grant's presence. If Bob Hope or Danny Kaye had starred instead, I could have been prepared for the silliness. All the actors were capable enough and you get a real feel for time period it was portraying. Then insanity is introduced, situations produced and sadly, responses become contrived. If you've never seen it, prepare for it to get silly and weird. Hopefully, you won't be disappointed.

I grew up watching this movie, and to this day it's one of my favorites. Cary Grant and this hysterics, are completely hysterical to watch! "I'm not a Brewster, I'm the son of Sea Cook!" Also, Aunt Abby and Aunt Martha are such a funny duo of murderers. Their antics will have you rolling on the floor. Also Peter Lorre is funny to watch as Dr. Einstein.
  • I can't lie, but I love this movie.

Out of all the classic comedies I've seen this has probably made me laugh the most. It's hilarious and I LOVE IT!! When Cary Grant came in and saw Raymond Massey and said "What's that?" I almost died. But I gave it 4 stars because Cary Grant's character is SO annoying sometimes. Like when he figures out his aunts poison old men and he acts like an idiot while asking the aunts questions about it. (I don't know if that will make sense to you...I think I worded it wrong) It's just so annoying. And when he's tied up and the police officer is telling him about his play. That's annoying too. BUT ANYWAYS...watch this. It's FOR SURE a classic comedy (and one of the best) and you'll love it.
