This film effectively skewered the criminal justice system of it's time. Food for thought when discussing the system further down the path from there. This was one of the first movies I went to on my own as a teenager and to this day when you say "Al Pacino" I immediately think "You're out of order! You're out of order! This trial is out of order!"

This should be for sale!! Beyond excellent movie. Uh. This is where Metallica got the title, after lars watched it, he stole it's title.

One of Pacinos best great acting great music great direction

pacino just shows how great of an actor he was in his prime in this scene in the end of the movie.

I didn't see this movie when it came out in 2001. I just watched it over the weekend on my IPod. I highly recommend it. It is a compelling drama about the U.S. criminal prosecution and defense legal system. Several story lines in one, each with its own poignancy.

Great dark comedy. One of Al Pacino's greatest films...and he's got a lot of them.

Im glad this on itunes. This was a good movie and had humor in it as well.
