Mistakes? Plenty were made that’s for sure. But while you may jeer at McCandless, it’s highly doubtful anyone of one his critics would have survived as long as he did. Enough arm chair psychology. Enjoy this wonderful yet sad story.

The books great but it's written by a journalist so it's written very unbiased and more of the skeleton of the story. This movie filled the body to McCandless; hate or love him this is a movie worth seeing. Slow beginning but worth it.
