Eyes Wide Shut

Hi, I love this movie. It;s very well done. I would just like to buy the "Director's Release, UN-CUT/UN-RATED) version. I noticied on some specific movies you have available, there's often times only the one simple, first version availabkle, that's my on;ly complaint or more of a Suggestion. I am a grown adult and I always purchase the Exrended or Director's Version for all the benefits of my media library/collection. I would like to purchase this streaming item from Apple, because most of my movies are shared across other platforms. I don't like supportiing Amazon so much, because a lot of their content isn't compatible across all my other platforms (Windows, Micrososft Movies/TV App, Apple TV/Itunes, Google Play, and "MoviesAnywhere" - which really is a lie, I can't access a lot of my media through moviesanywhere.com). Really, I-tunes has bettter compatabililty and I would like to put my money towards a company I respect. Thank You for providing a great service!

Draws you in and never lets you forget it.

I loved this movie. So interesting. Felt a bit like Rosemary’s baby. I wish we would have learned more about what those people were really all about.

I love this movie, always have, it’s like driving down a slowly winding road with red headlights installed, spooky and good music is going, akin to tripping on mushrooms lightly or pulling on a joint, whilst a beautiful, strange woman sits partially nude in the passenger seat....passing suggestive eye contact with you, reaches out to your leg and releases a palm full of black widow spiders into your lap & then it all disappears, suddenly your surrounded by cloaked weirdos with masks who kick you out of the secret orgy you accidentally appeared at. You get home and your wife tells you a warning about not telling others of the secret place that you have been to earlier in the evening and she’s fully aware of it because she has been a prostitute for the gatherings for years secretly and she tells you she ate the dog with Marsala sauce for a fun morning. Yes ...is a long, slow paced movie. Yes it’s weird. Yes there’s tons of naked chicks getting railed by weirdos throughout. Yes it’s artsy, and yes it’s a look within our secret desires and the dangers of being reckless with stuff you shouldn’t be doing anyways. No it’s not transformers, or the new fastest N’ furious’oust car racing movie starring Billy Baldhead O’Dunkinshire and Ragu jr-hogkick mcturd Jr...this is a higher end movie that is subtle, takes a brain, and is a poor poor choice for the viewer who only can follow nonstop computer generated scenes and thumping bar fight scenes with a buddy jingling a set of dangling keys 🔑 in your peripheral vision in case you get bored during a car chase that’s not “furious enough” and would be good if you had a 30 pack to wash it down with

Typical Kubrick rot– designed to shock the audience into believing it to be something exceptional – which it certainly is NOT! He manipulates the audience, indicative of his utter contempt for them.

This is a talented stanley kubrick exotic film it's sexy, misunderstood and brilliantly well acted and directed exotic picture. What makes this film so tense and exotic is the wonderful performence by Nicole Kidman she is powerful and dazzling in every scene of the movie.

Release the Unrated Version Apple- it’s what Kubrick wanted us to see... waiting to buy until that one is released...

I rented this even though I’d seen it MANY TIMES since it was released (never in the theaters near me though). Only ONCE was the Director’s Cut offered (can’t remember what streaming service offered it) so That’s What I Expected from iTunes. Sorry it was the same stupid version with the fake people in front of the sex scenes in the mansion. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS ? I’m not a child nor easily offended by visual portrayals of SEX ACTS BETWEEN CONSENTING ADULTS. If I’d known that this iTunes version was the “Rated/Horribly Cut” version I wouldn’t have rented it —again.

Great movie, one of Kubrick’s very best, deserving 5 stars. Unfortunately, the iTunes version is the censored one, with digitally added silhouettes masking some scene elements (minus one star). To see the movie as the director intended, you will need one of the Blu-Ray releases.

Starts out with hottie N in the raw and you think its going to get better but it does NOT and long arguments between Nicole and Cruise and stupid antics -- watch Basic Instinct were the real gets real
