The crummy remakes are nothing. Peter Sellers is great here. At his best. When I was a kid I was amused by his silly sequels to this movie. They are good movies, but this one is a work of art. Sellers is at his best here. A subtle humor that not many can achieve. And it is well balanced by Niven and Wagner. The writing is brilliant, not having to depend on the slapstick comedy that made the sequels kind of fun to watch.

Trust me- I was skeptical at first but I first came across this movie when my dad asked me to watch this with him. I didn't even know this was what the real pink panther was about. anyways this movie has so many laughs- Sellers is amazing and so hopeless but at the same time you root for him in this movie. Please make this one to purchase iTunes- you need to do it. It deserves to be up for purchase

This movie is amazing. Peter Sellers humor is seamless and natural not forced like Steve Martin’s rendition. The ski resort setting is beautiful. Please, make this available for purchase.

This movie is very funny. Peter Sellers is the funniest Inspector Clouseau, but he was way more funnier in The Pink Pather Strikes Again. Seriously iTunes get that movie. It is the best Pink Panther movie ever. Great movie though.

Okay, first of all, this movie was set up for Sir Charles (David Niven), the theif, not for Clousaeu (P.Sellers) who is very funny in his scenes. Rob Wagner was pretty good and Capucine was Hot! Great Plot... Good Comedy... You may as well just buy it!

Loved this old classic. Decided to show the grandchildren the original after watching Steve Martin in the re-make. This was so much better and they enjoyed as well. The only problem that I had was that the sound was not set high enough. Had it maxed out on my Apple.
