Superb acting! Great movie and well worth renting!

Great movie. Interesting and fresh storyline that will grab your attention even if you aren't big on war or action movies.

This movie is simply... A masterpiece! When I first saw this movie I was nursing a horrible hangover; with the shades drawn, 2 aspirin, and a Gatorade I watched this movie secluded with 110% focus on the amazing acting of both Bale, Zahn, and more. The director had the uncanny ability to transport me right in the middle of a dense and lush Vietnimese Forrest, while feeling incredibly fatigued from the lack of nourishment these men underwent during their horrible time as P.O.W.'s. I am recommending this movie because it's an incredibly sad movie; the tone this movies help was so powerful, so intense, and u just melt with the men who were captured rooting that they escape, the ending is one that will stick with you for weeks if not years. And to think that this has happened to countless American solders... Even another human being

Christen bale is the best actor ever

How come you dont like tis movie haters. It has a really amazing story. Or are you haters just looking for a movie like transformers were every thing is action and not a good story. Just imagin being the real person and you stayimg in thar hellish place. Plus my uncle acts for tis movie find him in the credits Colin Crosby. (:

Great movie, it was made a while ago so brothers out does it but still a good movie to see on friday night

Rented this movie today. Christian Bale is a superb actor. Reminds me of the stories my Dad used to tell me. Vietnam was a tough time. Praise all the US Troops, and Veterans from all the Wars, and to Christian Bale for his performance. Great director too.

i rented it and made it through about 1/2 hour before turning it off. horrible acting. don't rent it.
