I have the prior version of this movie on DVD but downloaded it as a RENTAL (I wish Apple would sell that version of this movie instead of just allowing people to rent it) when I wanted to watch the movie but it was not convenient to drag along all the things to play a DVD when I went on a short vacation.The original version of "The Fog" (1980) is so much better than this one & it was very disappointing that 25 years would not have produced a better movie instead of this which makes me wonder if Carpenter has not lost his edge as a director. I am having to give it 1 star because this system does not allow for 0 star reviews.

I agree. The original was scarier. Wish they would put that one on here. I don't care if they have both on here but I want the 1980 version.

I wish iTunes had the original one by John Carpenter that one is Awesome, not this piece of junk!🚽

I liked The Fog a lot but anything with Tom Welling in it is great with me!
