I’m all for giving love to many of the films on iTunes that I feel are some of the greatest underrated gems of any cinematic decade. And this is one of them. More of an action horror/western than a gothic horror. Before he wasted that 180 IQ of his and became a Twitter-addicted far-right conspiracy theorist— James Woods was the man. And he was one helluva leading man, with Vampires being one of the last films he truly shined in. It also reinstates my belief that James Woods most certainly SHOULD have won an Oscar at some point in his career, before he became a huge anti-Hollywood conspiracy troll. He was just THAT great. RIP James Woods’ Acting Career.

As I recall, this wasn’t too bad of a film, too bad it stars James Woods, one of the most wretched right-wing racist nut jobs in the USA.

Best vampire movie I have ever watched. It is so refreshing to watch an ice cold killer vampire movie in the day of teenage sexy vampires.

I don't understand how people could bash this movie it's probably the best vampire movie of all time. Very very violent though but that's what makes it great along with the films awesome music and setting

Certainly not one of best Carpenter's films, but it is a good fun to watch it! I'd even dare to say that it is Carpenter trying to get back to what he used to do: great films. Even if he failed in this, at least he made a good and enjoyable fun.
