After all this time, still a great movie!!!👍🏾

This is one for the best movies of its kind in the genre and Richard Gere and Debra Winger, while not being able to stand each other off set, you wouldn't know it on set, they gave amazing performances, as did the late Lisa Blount, David Keith and a supporting Oscar performance by Louis Gossett Jr as the Drill Instructor. But the best part of the whole movie that brings the whole thing together was the final scene, it's one of the best movie climaxes out there, definitely in the top 50, maybe in the top 20.

There seems to be some problem in renting this movie. I tried it many times but failed and so are others.

I expected it to b really good. But it was really really slow.

This movie tells a great story how a loaner learns the value of friendship, love,and loyalty. Awesome performance by Gere "I got no place to go". Gossett gives an Oscar worthy performance as the Sargent. Loved it! Great buy for $4.99
