This movie is so awful, that I was laughing through out the ENTIRE movie! 😂

From the cringy acting and fake crying to the obvious random stock footage of sharks, this movie is nothing short of a complete embarrassment. It’s so bad it’s almost comical.

Don’t watch. Awful movie. I’ll never get the 90 minutes of my life back!

Buckle in because Alicia Silverstone is about to take you on a RIDE! I’ve seen many shark films including several so cheesy they ought to be served with crackers but wow, The Requin is the new gold standard of over-the-top, ridiculousness. I’ve long felt Silverstone is a national treasure and after watching her take a surreal adventure where her hotel room is afloat and she battles sharks with a chainsaw motor off the shores of Vietnam — I can honestly say I feel changed for the better. Ignore the Debby downer reviews. The Requin is a bouquet of awful so bad, you can’t help but stop and smell the roses. Highly recommend!

Don’t waste your time!!!!

This is like the dollar store version of Jaws, but strangely I don’t regret buying it. I was in the mood for a bad shark movie and this definitely did the trick.

Kept my attention.

Wow...just wow...the acting was awful and it was mainly Alicia. The editing and color were so off and Im' sorry but the end was the worst ending I have ever saw. One minute you're on an island safe and then your edited back in the water....garbage!!!

As a shark lover I feel a certain obligation to stay updated on the way sharks are depicted in film. They’re usually, very inaccurately, portrayed as aggressively intent on killing humans. I’m 60 mins into this 90-min film and I haven’t seen a shark, but I want the characters to die so bad. This has to be the worst scripted, worst acted, worst directed, worst shot, worst edited shark film of all time. My curiosity failed me here. Please avoid this film, and watch a good shark documentary instead.
