Tugs at your heartstrings , great soundtrack (I am not a big Springsteen fan, but his music was great here, an integral part of the story itself). Yes, the lefty politics were evident, but just some background noise, it did not (thankfully) have an axe to grind like so many movies do today. Watch it and be happy for a couple hours.

I throughly enjoyed this movie. I was glued to for the duration. As an 80s kid it brought back fond memories. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is a fan of 80s music
My (Bronx) Experience

Outstanding movie. I have had the (possibly) unique experience of growing up in the 1970’s and 1980’s Bronx AND living just outside of Luton, Bedfordshire, England in the mid 2000’s.
Bruce spoke to my 16,17,& 18 year old self just as he did to young Javid, in the same way, in the same universal language, and with the same impact.
Great movie, great message, great messenger! Don’t back down, don’t give up, don’t give in, don’t let them drag you down! When they said sit down, I stood up! “Roy Orbison sang “Only for the Lonely”, hey that’s me and I want you only”!
The best of all of us, for all of us. Because, “Tramps like us, baby.........”
Music tie is great, but political clap trap is evident and destroys the message
