This movie is very interesting and funny. The only movies that I have ever seen switch genre from a slasher film on the first movie to a sci-fi on the sequel. A small budget jewel.

The first Happy Death Day was funny and hailrious because the plot follows Tree a disturbed college student who gets killed in her birthday and sends her to a time loop that repeats her days over over and again. And the sequel is brilliant and it has it's bad momments and it pays a throughback to time travel films like Terimantor 2, 12 Monkeys or Back to the Future and this sequel never disappoints.

Creative concept (•~•)

Sequels are hard, but this one pulls it off. It feels like this movie was written simultaneously with the first. I actually like the sequel more than the original, but the first movie was such a mash-up of genres and they couldn't quite hit all those notes here. So some people will prefer the original depending on what you liked about it.

The first one was good. I don't think that the second one was. Almost confusing.

I will not recommend. The first one was pretty good. However, the second one was not very good in storyline or acting.

The vehicle used to bring back these kids and this plot back for a sequel is pretty silly. I kind felt like I was in an episode of Big Bang most of the movie. Not much horror. Less blood than the first film. Mostly comedy and slapstick. Nevertheless I still liked it. I found the characters quite endearing and the movie generally amusing. If you are looking to be scared don’t rent this.

Everything about this movie is ridiculous! Don’t waste your money!
