I saw this movie in theaters way back when it came out. I thought it was average at best. But watching it again, I have to say that it’s pretty good. Definitely better than the reviews let on. Anything with Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly is a classic, including this one. A hilarious spoof on the story of Sherlock Holmes

It seems Adam McKay directing and writing would have truly made this funnier. Not funny like Step Brothers or Talladega Knights. The middle parts just seemed to be made as if saying lewd jokes makes everything funny. It got good towards the end but truly disappointing.

Let’s start off by saying this movie is not bad at all. The people from a country from you know where are simply mad because they hate when Americans do their accent. They love to do our accents but they don’t like it when we do it. The movie was honestly funny, and overall pretty good. Not this duo’s best movie but it’s still worth a watch! I definitely recommend renting it or buying it!

Such great comedians, this is the worst movie they have ever done. Big budget movie, but the end result is a very boring and not funny comedy.

This movie is perfectly enjoyable. Sure it isn’t as good Step Brothers or Talledega Nights, but will surely please most and make you laugh. Don’t listen to everyone else.
