YOU EXUDE A COSMIC HORROR ◼️

Film, cinema, is about motion. Character arch is what makes story. This film has both. There are three acts well defined. All three acts are exquisite. Some have said this is a horror film. I'm not so sure. Violence, gore, more violence, certainly, all of it staged in a surreal experience. This is archetype drama at its extreme. Good? against evil. Or righteous violence against pure evil. Who's to say? After a lifetime of studying film I have to say this is one of the better films I've seen. The structure, the cinematography, the sound, music, dialog, acting, staging, pacing, color, nuance, resolution. All aspects that go into film making are extremely well done. Mr. Cage's performance carries the film and is outstanding. Some scenes reminded me of his performance in Leaving Las Vegas. I was watching the character. The story of the protagonist. What more could you ask for? As brutal as this film is, I'd watch it again to learn from its expertise.

This movie isn’t for everybody, but you’ll either love it, like I do, or hate it. Not much middle ground with this one.

Yes, I too was totally incredulous when I decided to watch this, but this is a truly hypnotic piece of film making. It’s like they managed to dodge every movie cliché at every turning point in the movie. I kept looking for reasons to hate it; as the piece went on, I COULD NOT find one reason. It’s not something to recommend to gam gams, but this is definitely worth your time.

Extremely stylish and funny revenge trip

This film has the best action sequences and emotion to capture your attention fully. You can feel the pain and the anger Red goes through. Superb art direction and terrific music. I will never forget about this movie and is most definitely in my top 10 favorite movies of all time.

I’m a big fan of Nicolas cage he does pull this roll off excellent But the real deal is the movie has extremely slow pacing puts you to sleep with good editing you could have put the whole movie in to 30 minutes and that would still be to long The second the movie is way too dark almost unwatchable
