This movie was a cheap shot for shot remake of the original (one of my favorite childhood movies) and should never have seen the light of day. The plot worked for the original movie, but when you reuse and entire movie and just change the characters first names, it just turns into an abomination, similar to the sandlot sequel. I also hated the cheap knockoff of the song: bang a gong (get it on) by T. rex, that was featured in this movie
