this is by far my favorite short film. it’s a lovable story about a little sandpiper chick, and he is so cute! the whole story just makes me go awww, if you know what i mean.❤️

Love this short film!!!

This short film has won an Oscar. It deals with a young bird making friends with a small crab and, in the process, discovering the clam bounty beneath the waves most birds avoid. The mother of Piper is understandingly proud of her offspring and it closes with a satiated sand piper chick sleeping dreaming of his recently discovered revelation. A gem well worth your fee to own this family favorite. John Lassiter is a genius.

Pixar's shorts are nothing short of incredible every single time. But this one for me hits home because I love birds. Everything looks so real and you can tell that a lot of time and research and care was taken to create this little short film. And I adore the fact that you can tell a great story without saying anything. That's the power of film

Starting smiling about 30 seconds in and realized I was still smiling as the credits rolled. Which made me smile a bit more.

I always keep little videos on my phone so if I'm ever around a bored little kid on a plane or waiting room, I have something for them to watch. I will be sharing Piper now!! My husband and I were so impressed and it justs feels joyful to watch.

The entire "short" is six minutes long, and the preview is three minutes. Congrats for duping my 8 year old son out of $3, which works out to be two quarters per minute.

This pixar film is cute. I love this film a lot. The little baby bird is so cute.
