Description

The end of Season 2 brought about the end of the Bennett family’s hold over Harlan County and the return of Raylan’s old nemesis/friend Boyd Crowder to the criminal life. This season, Boyd and his crew will find they aren’t the only ones making a play to rule the Harlan underworld.     The show stayed true to the book and the book helped the show! By far the best series ever produced by FX and they have a lot of homeruns. Do yourself a favor and check it out

    I never thought much about Justified until I saw the series premiere was free on iTunes (along with other FX series like The Americans, American Horror Story). I downloaded the free episode, and immediately became hooked - and consequently purchased seasons 1 and 2 on iTunes. Who or whomever came up with this series-premier-for-free tactic is a marketing genius - I would have otherwise never considered watching and I AM SO GLAD I DID!

    The writers are great at fleshing out even minor characters, giving everybody a backstory. But they didn’t seem to know where they were going this season, throwing in too MANY characters to manage, stirring up a big plot device stew with a dozen embryonic plot lines but no unifying one. The actors are strong, the setting intriguing, but there has to be an actual story. Worst season so far; one more like it and I’ll save my money (I have to download these episodes at $2 a piece).

    I use these ratings to filter what is available to my entire family (kids) and what is password locked, but season 3 has not rating, and thus does not let me filter it out this way. Help?
