Description

Dilbert — one of the most popular comic strips of the decade. With his signature turned-up tie, round glasses, and buzz cut, Dilbert is already a pop culture phenomenon, providing an irreverent reference point for workers everywhere. Dilbert, the series, follows the "everyman" as he copes with daily life at the Company. Daniel Stern (The Wonder Years, Home Alone) stars as the voice of Dilbert, while Chris Elliott voices his roommate Dogbert, who views the entire world as existing for his personal entertainment. Joining Dilbert in the office are his fellow engineers: the no-nonsense, caffeinated Alice (Kathy Griffin) and selfish, slothful Wally. Guest voice talent includes Jason Alexander, Andy Dick, Eugene Levy, Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Tom Green and more!

Ok, I have been a mega-fan of the comic for years and when I was in Borders, I saw Dilbert: The Complete Series there. I saved up and bought it and let me say, MAJORLY WORTH IT. All of the characters are just as great as in the comic (plus the tv-only charcter, Loud Howard). I especially like the point-haired boss' lines. The second season isn't quite as good though.

The first handful of episodes covering the development cycle of a product is great, and then this series drops like a stone. O.K., “Charity” is great too if you’re sick of being extorted 45 days out of your working year by the “Associated Way”. After the product development story arc ended the series lost all focus and coherence until it was mercifully put out of it’s misery by cancellation. Don’t buy this series, I have the whole thing on DVD and if you pay the shipping you can have it. I haven’t thrown it out yet only because the landfill has never done anything to me to deserve such retribution.

I expected this to be better, because of how good the Comic-Strip and the Animated Podcast is. although, it did show a lot of resemblance to the type of Humor in the comic strip, these type of Cartoon shows I just don't like. but I'd seriously recommend the Comic-strip, and the Podcast.

This show needs to come back. It was on the wrong network! That's the only reason it was canceled! They at least need to bring back the voice actors for the animated dilbert comics, the new voices suk!
  • Man could hardly beleive it on ITunes no less.

OK I'll admit I'm a HUGE Dilbert fan. Have been from day 1. Why? Well my wife and I both worked in the corperate world her in Market Research and me as a behind the area Techie. (Liike Dilbert) We used to come home a read/watch Dilbert and honestly it's SO like that world it's SCARY for real. I bought the season on DVD when it first came out and this is GREAT. Can't say too much about it. L8R
